Workflow of the Plywood Flooring Packaging Line

Panel Feeding & Alignment 

Individual plywood flooring panels are fed into the system either manually or via an automated feeding mechanism. The panels are aligned for accurate stacking and smooth packaging.

Automatic Stacking 

Panels are stacked into bundles according to preset parameters (length, width, height, quantity per bundle). Sensors and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) ensure precise and consistent stacking.

Bundle Pressing (Optional) 

A hydraulic or pneumatic press compresses the bundle to reduce air gaps and ensure tight, compact packaging, improving load stability during transportation.

Strapping Unit 

Heavy-duty PET or PP strapping is applied in multiple directions to secure the bundle. Tension can be adjusted depending on the material type and packaging requirement.

Edge Protection Application (Optional) 

Cardboard or plastic edge protectors can be automatically applied to bundle corners to prevent denting or chipping during handling.

Outfeed Conveyor & Palletizing 

Packaged bundles are transferred to the outfeed conveyor, where they are either manually or robotically stacked onto pallets, ready for warehousing or dispatch.
